Are you possibly aware that the band was around a little while before the series was even started(about 8 years if you want to know)?

Because you were apparently under the wrong impression that Puffy was like The Monkees that was only formed for the tv series.

I don't know how you could have come to that impression. I knew full well how long the two have been together, but I don't follow them a closely as you perhaps, and haven't seen or heard from them for quite some time, until this announcement, I just thought they either broke up, or were taking a long break from touring. No need to get all stroppy.
