Hooray! This show is the only show from the spring season that actually made me LOL IRL.

yay, I was hoping that this was going to get a second season.

It really is one of the few shows that make me laugh out loud, or at least I find enjoyable every episode.

Was really hoping this would get a 2nd season but I was beginning to think it wouldn't due to the most recent episodes.

Glad I was wrong.

I'm not sure how I should feel about this. I mean, the show is funny and all, but I can't help but worry that Shinbo & Shaft won't be able to maintain the humor level. I mean, the first half of "Pani Poni Dash!" was hilarious, but the second half was noticeably weaker. Admittedly, that was one 26 episode season and not two separate 13 episode seasons, so here's hoping.

I'm moderately happy with this news. I had dropped this one after a few eppies, then changed my mind and have stuck with it since then. It's good for a few chuckles per episode and I do like the eccentric cast of characters.

There had been persistent rumors at 2ch that there would be a second season. Now this confirms them.

This is great, Arakawa is my favorite show this season and now that they're making another season I'm just overjoyed. Here's hoping the manga and the show get a US license.

HURRAY! More Arakawa is a good thing.

Though will they be able to keep the humor at the same level (Zetsubou-sensei says yes)

Great news! Arakawa has been one of the best shows this Spring, full of memorable characters, ingenious scenarios, and funny-as-hell dialogue. Pretty much every cast member has been unique and quirky, and are "people" whom you can care about. Even the freckled Ko lookalike!

Looking forward to more, and to sukochi, thank you (and your team) for all your hard work Very Happy

Holy cow, I seriously and I mean seriously don't believe it! I thought there would never be a second season.

Wow, for once a show I really have enjoyed is getting another season. It's usually those other shows that do and usually not the one's I watch.

Fantastic news, I really look forward to watching the second season. I really have enjoyed the first season and this series was easily the best series during the fall anime line up.
