Are there any non Tokyopop versions of the GTO manga that is in english? The only thing im concerned about basically is if Tokyopop censored the manga

To the best of my knowledge it is not censored. To be quite honest I have been very happy with all 17 of my volumes so far. I have heard this rumor of GTO manga being censored before, but that is pretty much what it has stayed it...a rumor.

If you are so worried go to your local manga distributor, and read through the first volume and see what you think of it. I personally did this, and was very satisfied.

Actually there are a few minor censoring in GTO. The exposed breast in a female mud wrestling panel was covered up and some panels have alcohol reference removed. Other than that, I don't think there are anymore censoring and Tokyo Pop did a pretty good job at translating the manga.

Yup, a lot of the perverted stuff are still intact with the U.S. released. Also Tokyopop is the only company that can released GTO in the U.S..

Guess that means that their "100% authentic manga" claim was a lie. I know that no translated manga can be "100% authentic" but at least they could've left the manga uncensored.

Kodansha released a bilingual version of GTO a few years back. Each book retails for ~$12-15 and can still be found online. Random retailer link below:
