No surprises there. Wasn't a matter of "if" but "when." Can't wait to get it.

I've never bought a Dragonball DVD other than a few of the movies, but this might be worth a purchase. DBZ minus the (most egregious) pacing problems? Neat.

When I first heard that DB Kai was being made I said to myself, "How long will it take before it gets an R1 release." I will be curious to how the dub turns out.

Hopefully Sean will still play Goku... That guy practically IS Goku!!!

Other than that, I can't see any bad reason to purchase it!

I've been watching this, and will buy on Blu-Ray only. Even condensed, the Frieza saga is still way too long! Razz

I've read elsewhere specualtion this could affect Dragon Box sales, but I doubt it. I did pick up the first Dragon box at a nice discount from Right Stuf, and will probably snatch the others.

Well, that makes my future DBZ purchasing easy. Guess I'll finish buying the regular season sets (already have 1-3, and they're cheaper than the Boxes and also have the English music, which I personally prefer), then start buying Kai sets as they come out. Shame it's reportedly so edited in terms of violence, but I'll tolerate it.

Blu-Rays would be cool and glad I didn't buy the Dragon Box.

While it was obvious that we'd get this, and I'm glad that I don't have to watch the entire DBZ since I missed all that, it makes more pertinent that roaming question.

How will this effect sales of the Dragon Box? At least, that's the question that's been bugging me for a while.

I suspect that people who actually buy that thing are collectors anyway...
