Encyclopedia's User Ratings are not updating.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but for a few weeks now User Ratings are not updating. My guess would be it started ever since that "big upgrade" and the following horror of "504 Gateway Time-out" message. But nevermind about that. Rolling Eyes

After being ANN user for a few years I noticed that Encyclopedia updates daily somewhere at night. When I rate a series I'll check User Ratings next day to see if it has been added, just a little custom of mine. Recently though I have noticed that ratings are not updating.

Being a fan of now airing Bakemonogatari I check it's rating from time to time. Airing series update nearly daily as more and more people decide what it's worth. Eden, K-ON! and others had more and more ratings as it was airing. However for more than two weeks now I've noticed that number of ratings had stuck at 58. Clannad After Story... 619 masterpiece ratings for more than two weeks and I remember it gained a few votes nearly daily. There are more examples, I just don't want to list.

Finally I made a little experiment and downrated certain series to worst ever. That title has no worst ever ratings so I wondered if it would get one but even after a few days it didn't.

Bases on pure logic I figured something is wrong, drawing a parallel with harware upgrade. It's up to Dan42 now to figure technical side of it.

Well well well. Thank you Mr. Dan42 or whoever fixed this problem. Although I'd love someone to actually admit that the ussue was there... anyway it's back to normal, for now. Wink

It's happening again Dan... these upgrades seem to break more things than they fix...

Exaggerate much? You would rather go back to the old, slow ANN? Some people are pretty happy with the speed improvement.
Now, I've been busy with more critical stuff earlier this week, but today I had some time and fixed it.
