Speaking hypothetically, are wood-carvings eligible? I would assume that similar rules to the past jack-o-lantern contest apply in such a case.

My drawings are probably worse than a 6 years old's. But I'm really curious about what the contestants would be confessing about... maybe something like "I confess I copied my fan art from someone else". Nah just kidding.

Off I go to look up what the heck Nagi looks like to see if I can even attempt a fanart without knowing a single thing about this series.
See; Winning DVDs would enlighten me. EDIT: Three minutes later. This is Moe isn't it! Bah, I don't "do" Moe. This is getting to be a serious challenge. |

I'm interested in the confessing thing to, wonder if thats how there going to decide if you get like a prize even if your fan art is bad type deal?
I mean if I can draw something worth entering with in the deadline I'm going to enter, I love the series but I don't own the DVDs yet |

I know i'm gonna go for the character i like due to my otaku interests and who has otaku interests herself.
Fanart schmanart, it's a good excuse to seriously draw a meganekko again, even if it's a far lesser popular character like Kimura Takako. |

The confessions have no bearing on anything. It's just for fun. There are two chances to win. 1) Good Art 2) Random Draw -t |

It's not clear-cut moe by Japanese standards, but most American otaku would probably call it moe. Its kinda borderline moe/innocent bishoujo, like Haruhi Suzumiya. You definitely don't have to draw moe style art to win. -t |

Quick question to the staff.
Does the logo have to be exactly like the two in the bottom of the article? Or can they just say "Anime News Network" and "Bandai" with the appropriate colors? Haven't drawn in a while but might be a good excuse to start drawing again. Free stuff is always a good motivator. |

Does that mean if we submit multiple images, we submit the entry multiple times? |

Yeah, I'm curious about this too, because what I want to do would have the logos all... warped in a way. |

They do not need ot be exactly like the ones below. IN fact, we encourage you to be creative with them. See the winning vocaloid entries from the similar contest last year. animenewsnetwork.com/contest/2008-12-02/vocaloid/hatsune-miku-pvc-giveaway-and-fan-art/2 -t |

Hmmmm... unfortunately the system will actually stop you from entering more than once. Let me check with Dan if there's anything we can do about that. -t |

Good old Dan. Anyway, I would enter it but my drawing skills are lacking. However, good luck to those entering.
