Finally a date for R2. This time I might pick up the LE.
For Code Geass I took the Normal Versions because the online shop I order at it was out of Stock.

I persume there Bandai hasn't announced yet what the extras are going to be. Likely the Sound episodes and further Volumes of the manga.

I hope Hayate the Combat Butler Part 1 [DVD, sub] $39.98 is not going to be a subtitle only release. I have been looking forward to this one for a while because I like the manga.

That's what "sub" is supposed to mean i'm afraid. All the DVDs in the list include japanese with subs so I don't know what else it could mean.

Oh well, I knew as much myself, but I guess I just didn't want to admit it. At least it means I will save myself some money.

Wait, does anyone know what they mean by Freedom Part 1?

I ask because the series has already come out in singles, and was supposed to come out in a complete box set earlier this year, but then it was delayed to July 7. The box set retails for 39.98, so it's a different product than the one listed on this page for 24.98 (TSRI page for boxset: http://www.rightstuf.com/cgi-bin/catalogmgr/iSeXZbKmGK7LKCRWRj/browse/item/82779/4/0/0).

I can't imagine Bandai would come out with the complete series and a half-set of the series on the same day. Does anyone know if this means the box set isn't happening?

Thanks

I'll definitely be getting Code Geass R2, which version I get will depend on whether or not the LE comes with an artbox.

Most likely, they decided to break up this collection into two parts.

I'm having a feeling that this Part 1 is going to replace that listing.

*waiting for FULL Code Geass boxsets*

So I guess .hack//GU Trilogy will be a buy... still no sign of the Returner episode though (and I don't think it was in vol. 6 either, was it?)

I'll wait a 50 episode release of Code Geass, on BluRay. I've got enough patience.

Wow, that seems awfully expensive for one disc. This costs as much as the hybrid two-disc sets they been releasing for Code Geass and Gurren Lagann, and this doesn't come with extras or an english dub! Not to mention, 3 hours seems like a lot of time to be putting on one disc-- I wonder if the picture quality will suffer? Anyone have any thoughts on why it's so overpriced?
