Shocked

Wow. I've never been much of an Adachi fan, but I definitely respected his work. To see this collaboration by two of the industry greats is wonderful. Hoping I can get my hands on that DVD.

Is it going to be an Urusei Yatsura/Touch crossover? Because that would be wonderful.

I don't think so, but yes, if that were the case, it would be awesome Very Happy

Hopefully, we'll be able to get it here later on.

Wait, was the other news post about Mitsuru Adachi's new series refering to this? If so, this is kind of a dissapointment.

edit: Oh wait, I just re read the news and it appears this isn't the new series.

I never was a fan of Adachi's work, but since this has Rumiko Takahashi name on it, I'll read this.

I hope this isn't too girly, Rumiko is one of the best manga artist alive though.

This has the potential to be something very exciting. Two classic authors working together. Let's hope that the combination of their talents creates some strong synergy. Both artists are hit or miss with me, but when they are good, they are very good. I'm sincerely hoping for good this time around.

Wow, this is going to be a huge collaboration! Very Happy

P.S. Unlike many people, I like Adachi's works more than Takahashi's, but they are both great mangaka.

I'm also more an Adachi fan since he's less fantasy-sci-fi but they are my two favorites simply because of in my opinion they're the two best storytelling mangaka and they're just all about character development. To me this is like the dream team. They are old friends and have had "little things" in their manga referring to each other's works. Like one of Adachi's characters getting traded from the boxing team to the baseball team for a copy of one of her manga. They're kinda fun to hunt for.

That was Tatsuya on TOUCH, very funny moment there, on the anime version though it isn't a urusey yatsura picture though.

I'm looking forward to this stuff, I highly enjoy both authors very much.

As am I, now. Takahashi and Adachi are each some of my favorite mangaka, a collaboration work will hopefully turn out very well.
