Not to be confused with "dub music." I just found out that Ellen Kennedy (one of my favorite dub actresses) has released a CD, Where is Love? I'll have to pick it up. Does anyone know of other cds recorded by dub performers?

I didn't even know dub actors had their own albums. That's kind of strange. The only I time I might expect something like that is if there actually is a dub of a song in an anime. Like, Tenchi or something. I can't say if I'd like to listen to one or not.

Anyway, I think I remember hearing about an album by Sandy...something or other. I think she sang the opening for...ah, I can't even remember anymore. I just remember her first name was Sandy.

Yeah, yeah. That's her. I think I've heard her sing a few dub intros and endings, though I don't remember.

But yeah, she was the one I heard had her own album. Thanks.

Oh yeah...she did the OP/ED songs for Magic Knight Rayearth, didn't she? I didn't think those were that good....

Oh. I think she also sang the dub for "Sobakasu." I vaguely recall a past thread that talked about people complaining that was the worst anime song they ever heard.

I, personally, don't like dubbed songs in general because it takes away the authenticity. Not to mention, some of it just sounds horrible (Lodoss War OAV *shudders like Sideshow Bob* eh, huh, eww... Mad )

In one of the previous threads, someone stated that if you joined Sandy Fox's fan club, you'll receive her album cd for free:

Wow, the flying "tinkerbell" with her head is somewhat frightening.

You pay $30 to join her fanclub and you get this CD:
* And a free, signed compilation CD of the Hit Anime Themes that Sandy has sung and made so popular!

So, you just get her anime song renditions and no original music from her.

Well, at least Lex Lang's version of tactics wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't pay $30 bucks for it.

In fact, I'd be more likely to pay somebody $30 bucks to destroy the masters and every existing copy of the rest of Sandy Fox's versions.
