Wow, this could be really great! I have yet to see the two completed parts, I must check to see if they are still available on iTunes.

Sweet. More Tezuka anime! I feel that it's only appropriate to have more works animated or the animation be finished because this is the man who is the father of modern anime and manga.

I hope he'll do a better job than Miyazaki's son. Rolling Eyes

I had seen the first and fourth parts and didn't realize at the time this was made this way, I just assumed I failed at finding the other parts. I look forward to this.

I dont think its right to compare this to Earthsea its not really the same situation, Miyazaki not being dead would be the main one (although Earthsea certainly made me think he was) and Makoto Tezuka actually has some experience in directing unlike Goro.

While I am glad that fans of Tezuka's work will finally get to see a completed version of this movie, the flying scquirel looks gigantic.

Recently though, I've been reading Tezuka's aclaimed Midnight and really enjoy this series. Hopefully this will please some fans.

It deserves to be finished. Tezuka's works have always been interesting and fun to watch, and this one is certainly no exception.

I had no idea that Osamu Tezuka's son was active in his father's field, or even that he was the head of Tezuka Productions. It's nice to see that the father's talent trickled down to his successor and since it seems like his works have gotten pretty good marks, it'll be interesting to see Makoto Tezuka do something so different outside of Black Jack.

Am I the only one who thought "Phoenix" when I read this headline? Although I'm not sure if I'm happy or disappointed to be wrong...
