I'm surprised with how long they held off announcing Honey Hunt, since it begins serialization in Shojo Beat next issue.

When they said VIZBIG version for Hot Gimmick and Fushigi Yuugi, what exactly does that mean? That confuses me,

That they will combine either 2 or 3 volumes into 1. It should also be noted that these are cheaper per page count.

They're re-releasing the series in their new VIZBIG format, which combines three volumes into one. Aside from the size difference, they also have the original color pages.

Oh, that was weird for a second. I thought they were talking about the Gestalt anime that . . . Anime Works? I think, released forever ago. I'm interested in reading the manga though, considering the anime was only 2 or so episodes long and got no where.

Otomen sounds hilariously fabulous. I can't wait for that one. Checking in google image, looks pretty, too.
Didn't much care for Hot Gimmick other than the art; hopefully this story will be better?
And now I can debate about rebuying FY. I have the first 6, but they're the flipped format, and I've been waiting for a good reason to rebuy them.

Otomen! Now that's made my day! Probably be early 2009, after Blank Slate is done? Then I will have to hope for her Shinsengumi-related books...

Oh cool! For some reason, I had never bought the Fushigi Yuugi manga, despite my addiction to the anime series, so an omnibus version with colour art is a nice thing to look forward. I'll definitely be picking that baby up when it comes out.

Gestalt!!!
Finally!!!
I've been wanting this Manga for years; Ever since I watched the OAV I've been hunting for translations of the Manga to no avail.
Now, Finally.... A Hard {English}Copy!!
Guess Viz is taking it since Loveless is so popular now they figure anything with Yun Kouga's name on it may get attention from Loveless fans.

I never thought I'd see the Gestalt manga liscensed.
Well then.
This makes me very happy. :D
And Otomen, too. I've really been loving Viz lately.

Viz has always been disorganized, but not usually when it comes to their two anthologies. I'm assuming that they just held off the announcement so they could group it with all the others.
Anyways, pretty boring group (for me at least). Hopefully we'll see a new Signature series or two at Comic-con. I am interested in the FY omnibuses though.

I suppose, but it's still weird because holding off this long meant that they had to reveal what the new series was in the magazine before they actually made an official announcement (though the latest issue just arrived to subscribers, so the news was still pretty new, but still, I did know that they had Honey Hunt before reading this news).
