It's kind of funny to see this after reading about how professional singers refused to lend their voice to the Vocaloid software because they didn't want their singing voice to be cloned.
Now, I can give accurate voices to a Gackt Robo Death Army. Thanks, man! |

OMGGGGG... I thought it was an April Fools' Day joke by nico-dou! Their time-traveling machine turned out to be fake (noooo!), but their @ピザ command was actually legit and still works. And now, the Gackt Vocaloid is apparently actually legit too! I should have known, since the news item was never removed. Bravo, nico-dou, you managed to fool so many of us.

News about Gackt's dog is a bit different from Gackt lending his voice to the next Vocaloid. Vocaloid is HUGE right now in Japan in the anime fandom scene, so I think it's quite relevant. You can barely go anywhere in Akihabara without seeing the current Vocaloid love, Miku Hatsune, for example. She is EVERYWHERE. Even the arcades near my school have videos of her playing at the UFO catchers. I think this is hilarious. The voice clip sounded really good! Gackt gets points for being up for this. I can't wait to see what sort of crazy songs people end up making him sing. |
