Neat, I did think this needed quite a bit more of an epilogue, either to explore the other characters' journeys after the timeskip or more on how Deku acts in his new position

Sounds good to hear!

Here's hoping for some neat extra content... And even if it's one page, at least more confirmation that IzuOcha is a thing.

Part of me is okay with more, the other part of me would rather not have hard confirmation on ships either way (which seems to be what lots of people wanted from the last chapter). I respected the series for managing to end without explicitly ruling out KiriBaku, please don't ruin that for me, Horikoshi.

But if manages another 38 pages without acknowledging shipping at all one way or another, sign me up. Laughing

This was why the ending always felt... suspicious to me, it was only 20 pages and 2 weeks before everybody was expecting it and I was like "There is no way Hori is going to draw 40 pages of art to fill the final volume".

100% sure this was planned from the beginning to boost the sells of the final book, not gonna lie, it sounds as the kind of crap I would pull if I was in his position.

Tough I would try to pull something like Assassination Classroom pulled: spoiler[Confirming the main couple in a random blink-and-you-miss-it bonus art] just for the funsies.

Not that matters to me, after watching the final Vol.'s art I was going to buy both the First and Final vols to have them in the room I store my nerdy stuff simple because they look way too good next to each other with their complementary arts.

That's probably not entirely wrong, bur Horikoshi was famously kinda Not Well while drawing the last arc so my initial thought was that he was able to draw these 40 pages at his own pace.

Considering the criticism towards the ending, hopefully this will be a positive.

This is more than I expected and I'm personally so glad for it. I wanted the epilogue to have more time to breathe in some areas so I hope this epilogue+ allows for that.

Hoping for a proper epilogue this time.
This series desperately needs it.

Don't you know that two guys having any sort of friendship is enough for some people to ship them lol
