Reminds me of Dj portable max on the psp. A korean game also, I believe. The actual animation is very poor. You could say it's style, I suppose, but I just expected better.
Then again, I had the song muted just to see what the video looked like, so I can't say I care how good or bad it is or if this affects her career at all. Last edited by Vortextk on Thu Mar 13, 2008 10:36 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Actually probably one of her better songs in my mind, and she didn't have to worry about getting in front of the camera or anything. Just sing, that's it. A step back from what's going on these days, I would say.

I had it posted here first, try that link for the video. For some reason, music in the music section is beyond me. lol.
I also had a question here about music videos... |

Music: Mediocre pop (OK if you like that stuff, otherwise blah).
Animation - quality: Mediocre. Lots of reused footage, and low-frame animation/stills. Common for anime, but you'd expect more from a PV budget. Animation - content: Derivative, verging on the ridiculous. I gave up counting ripped-off scenes and cuts after the first dozen or so. It's like nobody cared enough to make an actually original video. This will appeal to her existing fans, but assuming that it will be of any benefit beyond that is naïve. - abunai |

What I fear this video will do is make millions of pre-teenage girls think they're anime fans.
Fortunately, should this hapen, all of said "fans" will completely forget about this particular video once the music industry spews out something newer. |

ZOMG! Britney Spears as the AOL of anime? The mind boggles. But you're right, if this creates any interest in anime, at all, then it will likely be a passing fad. It's not the first time a high-profile singer or group have had an anime PV, either. Linkin Park, Daft Punk and Gorillaz have played the anime or pseudo-anime card, with middling success. - abunai |
