Can't wait for atlus to release this again as a "complete version" a few years later
Never buy games at launch.

No kidding! I wouldn't be surprised if the next generation Switch gets that "complete" version.

A pretty reliable leaker has said that Atlus is planning to port both Metaphor and Persona 3R to Nintendo's next console, though I'd say that both games could have run on the regular Switch if they were properly optimized. I just hope that they can arrive on the launch of the system, it would be bad if they both arrive a year or two after the console's launch. However, they same leaker has commented that Atlus is moving away from releasing a complete edition of their games, instead they will add extra content with DLC, though that brings some questions in regards to the possible next-gen Nintendo version, is it going to be the regular version without any of the DLC content?

Honestly, story and presentation wise, I prefer the original releases of Persona 4, 5 and Catherine over the rerelease expansions, where the new content is always awkwardly shoehorned in.
Hopefully Atlus isn't dumb again and gives Metaphor a physical PS4 release in North America, unlike how it sent Unicorn Overlord out to die.

I think Golden handled it the 'best' in the sense all the Marie stuff is optional so you can get the vanilla story if you want it. You're stuck with Kasumi's scenes in Royal even if you don't get the third semester.
