Looks like the manga won't adapt the entire novel series, as those are still ongoing.

Speaking of unfinished adaptations, is there any hope for a second season of the anime?

For a second I thought this was an announcement for a second season of the anime.

Manga adaptation of LN adapting the entire serie are extremely rare. The series continues to improve as of vol 7 so i'd love to see a second season too but i don't have much hope given GA's trend, unless they are among their absolute top selling series like currently Angel Next Door, GS, Danmachi, like Nyaruko back then ... they usually stop after one season, i wouldn't be surprise if they decide to make a Hikikomari S2 soon as many volumes are among their best seller of the moment but we never know, Ryuuou no Oshigoto and Rakudai kishi were/are among their most popular and never receive a sequel.

Going by the Japanese Amazon previews of the latest collected volume (6), it looks like the manga will probably only get through the end of LN book 3. Kind of a shame, since I really enjoy the series (currently reading book 9), and I would have liked to at least see book 6 visualized in some form.

LN 3 ends with a huge cliffhanger though. It will not be a satisfying ending for manga-only readers.

Darn, the art was really solid. I like this series a lot... the light novels are not very well written (My main qualm is repetitiveness.) but the story is so gewd and thus still totally worth reading and so perfectly made for anime. As others have said, a second season would be amazing *n*

The manga is fun. So annoyed that it's ending before it finishes adapting the LNs, which I don't want to go and read because, well, I have too many manga and US comics to catch up on. And the three novels in that the manga adapts is too far into the LN series to have to read just to continue the story from where the manga left off. Makes me wish that it could find a new home at another publisher.

highly unlikely it will get a second season!

for as we all know, the anime industry in japan as a massive double standard and hypocrisy problem when it comes to the yuri genre!

the whole controversy involving gundam witch from mercury last year is proof that it do indeed have such a double standard for the genre, and if popular yuri series from last year like yuri is my job, im in love with the villainess & tenten kakumei (magical revolution of the reincarnated princess) wont get a second season, the odds of excutioner and her way of life getting a sequel are slim to none!

Since we often discuss this issue even in school, using it https://papersowl.com/examples/community/ as an example for essays and debates.

I just finished the 9th book and I want to forget everything and read it all over again... I adore this series.
