I was never "There is no Tsukihime anime." person, but I really hope that after this, there will be announcement for a new Tsukihime adaptation.

To me, at least, Tsukihime was never as great as Fate, but I bet a lot of fans would be hyped if, after all these years, they finally got a better version.

That all said, this trailer did look impressive.

I just wanna know when is this masterpiece coming out? I don't play the games, but I love the animation adaptations, and this looks like it's gonna be a banger of a movie(s).

ufotable, I would love for you to remake Studio Deen's Fate/stay night, and Tsukihime.

It looks incredible, so won't say no to this...but personally, I would've preferred if ufotable kept the Fate momentum going with a hollow ataraxia adaptation. Hell, I would've even taken a do-over with the original Fate route. Problem with Witch is that it's merely the first part out of three, and I simply do not trust Nasu to commit to sequels in a timely manner...

I also would've expected some kind of news regarding the strange fake series today. The special came and went, and then radio silence...

I'm about 45% of the way into the VN, and the environments look perfectly realized; at times the shots are indistinguishable from images in the VN.

However, when Aoko came down to get the phone after just a few rings, I had to smile. "Wait," I thought, "you mean it isn't going to ring endlessly as the script tells us over and over how cold it is this morning? As we lurch through every single step of Aoko getting out of bed and going downstairs? As we sometimes read descriptions of things we can see for ourselves just fine by looking at the screen?"

It'll be nice to experience this story again with a movie's pacing. Maybe it's just me, but when I first heard about VNs, I imagined a more synergetic relationship between the text and visuals; something more like a comic, I guess, than an actual novel with images in the background.

A new Tsukihime "UBW" would be cool, the old Tsukihime anime was my intro to Type moon back when it came out

The Deen anime is the only version of that story I know. It held my interest throughout, though I think my favorite things about it are its soundtrack and general atmosphere.

I think that as long as it splits the story into at least 2 movies, the adaptation will be fine. Just going by the trailer, it looks like the first half, but it's hard to say.

@vanfanel It does depend on the author to how well the images and text work together to make a story, but Nasu in particular is really narration and exposition heavy. Witch on the Holy Night is the least offensive work I've read in that regard (I haven't read the new Tsukihime though). Fate/Stay Night is very much a slog at times, though its highs being as high as they are is why it's so well regarded. If you want to meaty stories with low pacing issues, I'd go for midsized VNs like Symphonic Rain or Fata Morgana (both on Steam and all ages). There's also some neat short all ages VNs like Narcissu, Planetarian (both on Steam), or True Remembrance (not on Steam, but freeware).

Looks fantastic! I hope they do a new Tsukihime anime after this (and if a miracle happens, a Fate route adaption).

Personally I thought after Heavens Feel, Ufotable was done with the Fate Franchise. If there's going to be anything else Ufotable has to get through Demon Slayer and whatever they're going to do with Genshin Impact

Wouldn't mind seeing either A-1 Pictures or Clover Works take a stab at a Fate Route adaptation though

Troyca could do a reasonably good job, too.

I am so hyped for this! I loved the VN on PS4.
They’ve used the VN’s excellent soundtrack for the trailer, wonder if they’ll do the same for the movie?

Everything in the trailer looks familiar to me, which would put it all in the first half. Based on where I am in the story, I think one movie may be able to handle it. I feel like I've read *a lot*, but I don't feel like a whole lot has happened.

Wow. In that case, I may just have to be satisfied with the anime adaptations going forward. I have enjoyed Nasu's actual novels, though. I wish he'd write more of those. Appreciate the VN recommendations!
