(Haven't seen the show.) How come the sharp jagged teeth don't hurt her?

She's one tough cookie. (the manga's never said why she's not hurt. Maybe mimics in this world just aren't very strong)

I'll be shocked if someone doesn't eventually make a high-end figma of "Frieren and the Mimic." I'd be sorely tempted to buy it.

Maybe not a Figma but I can see a DX version of a Nendoroid coming with a mimic.

The series its half comedy, thus, it takes some liberties, like character durability, when it needs to in order to make a joke.
Frieren getting stuck in that pose because a mimic bites her but also because a mountain of books fall over her and the like its a running joke.

If an accurate figurine of Frieren in seduction pose were made, I'd buy in a heartbeat and I'm not into figurines...Curious that people have focused on the mimic encounter as highly humorous, makes me wonder if there is a latent desire to see the dignified Frieren loose some of her dignity...

I appreciate that the Beyonity pins also include Fern's pouting face, Stark's DX face, and Frieren's -ω- face. Got their finger on the pulse of the fandom!
Good choice of character interactions in the Body Collection pic above, too.

For those of us who haven't been watching the series, was there any real need to put a bunch of later plot points into an article about a simple funny piece of merch that's apparently from the first episode? Putting a spoiler warning a few words before you start doing it doesn't really do much.

That is a meme now, which explains why I saw a short with Lamy's butt stuck in a mimic's mouth.

Frieren holding a potion is no longer the only meme related to the series that's on my radar.
