I didn't know that Shinichiro Watanabe produces music.

Manglobe tends to have interesting animation and seeing an animation director of Kemonozume and Abenobashi doing the character designs makes me happy.

Awesome. So far I've loved Ergo Proxy and really liked Samurai Champloo, so this looks promising.

Ergo Proxy was alright but the show that it rip off from Texhnolyze is far better.

This looks awesome. I really liked Samurai Champloo, so I expect good things from Michiko to Hatchin.

Amazing what familiar names can do. I was going to completely pass over this because the headline didn't sound very interesting, then I read "Newest work from Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy's manglobe studio". I looked and if the animation is anything like the poster-thing, I'll be hooked. And if it's anything on the planes of Champloo or Ergo Proxy, I'll certainly enjoy it. Can't wait to see.

I guess this confirms that Manglobe can produce a title without Geneon throwing money at them. I'll check it out when it airs since it does sound like an interesting series. And Shinichiro Watanabe's involvement with the music is nice and all but when is he gonna direct another series...? :/

He recently created a short film called "Baby Blue" with Studio 4°C.

It's not his first time he produced music. Watanabe produced music for
"Mind game" (Director: Masaaki Yuasa, Studio 4°C production).

Yeah, it's part of the Genius Party anthology (which is something I'd definitely like to see). I knew someone would mention it.
