I see they're just giving up on Deen and just going straight with Marvy Jack. Can't say the animation looks the best but it's also a 10 second clip so I can't judge it too much yet

It's been a sad downward trajectory for this franchise in terms of anime. Pretty darn good first season with nice visuals. Then they went to Deen. A definite downgrade, but it managed alright. And now...oh boy. This looks bad.

I guess it's no surprise that the series was still popular enough to get an adaption of the sequel series, and no surprise Netflix would pick it up...and considering how the animation faired in later seasons, I guess it's also no surprised they'd just straight up give up on 2D animation and go with CG.
I hope the films turn out well regardless. |
