The CG insects look atrocious, but I kinda don't mind it considering the manga is total B-movie so I see it as a throwback to old horror movies with terrible costumes for the monsters. No way in hell they're gonna keep all the content from the anime for a TV series tho. Even an OVA is doubtful.

Yeah, I watched the trailer mostly because that thumbnail had me less sure about what type of series this was. Of course, looking at some of the credits for staff members, things are making a bit more sense. |

Those bugs have bad CG, like it's inferior to Earth Defense Force 5 or Iron Rain. Also, this is going to get censored to oblivion once the TV version airs.

I think it looks like an entertaining B-movie experience and it somewhat reminds me of Calamity of a Zombie Girl. It is a shame that these type of OVA projects are so rare since they can go further than the shows that have to meet the guidelines for broadcast TV.
