I was reading at another forum that the animation for Naruto Shippuuden was redone in certain scenes for the DVD release.

My question, does Bleach get the same treatment since both shows are made by the same studio?

[EDIT: Altered your title to make a little more sense, also fixed some of your spelling and grammar. -TK]

Why don't you ask on the other forum? Though from my guess, I don't think Bleach would get any special treatment because Shippuuden was crappily made on purpose to avoid anymore of that horrid filler in the first series. They drew it with a low frame rate in order to extend each sequence as long as possible.

Bleach, on the other hand, is filler. It just wouldn't make sense to re-animate filler (though it's been about a month since I've watched any of it, so I don't know what's going on anymore).

Well, I guess that's why we haven't had much discussion in the Bleach anime thread! Laughing I know it's a bit OT from this thread, but just in case you don't know, the series is back to cannon, I believe as of 148 or somewhere around there, I'm not sure. But it's somewhere around there anyways.

It's not in filler right now. The last filler arc was only about three episodes and is currently canon. Or at least I'm pretty sure it is, I haven't read the manga this far but based on the animation and art quality and what is happening, I really don't think its filler.
