Not surprising the most memorable thing about The Lost Village was no one could decide whether it was a joke or honestly just that bad.
So does this mean Cerberus, Ange Vierge, and Big Order won't be getting a physical release either or just that they will get a digital release to go along side as well (they didn't seem like popular series after all tbh)?

Hope this isn't a growing trend since there are series' that CR has that I would love to have a physical copy for.

It's probably just for series that wouldn't do well otherwise. All four of those series aren't what I would call...uh, good. And they aren't that popular either.

Edit: Actually, let me take that back. The Lost Village is in the "so bad it's good" category. I guess it wasn't that popular during its simulcast, but I still wonder if it would do good if it was marketed as a B-movie...

Technical questions : In what format is the digital release? Something that has DRM and would stop working if Funimation (or whoever) shuts their servers down? Something tied to a specific device or devices? Something that does not have DRM and is usable on multiple devices without restriction?

They all have one thing in common. They were all train wrecks. The King's Game should join them but they've already dubbed that.

PonyCanyon USA planned to release "The Lost Village" but has not released even on home video yet. I wonder what the hold-up is.

I would love to have some news about Rakugo Shinju, for instance.

Simple, Ponycan USA is the worst anime distributor ever.

iTunes too (all sub-only, or "Original Japanese Version" as Funimation calls them on iTunes):

(did not find Garakowa -Restore the World-)

"Let's take 4 of the worst shows in the past couple years and ask people to pay enough for 5 month of CR. Holy crap, we'll make so much money."
This is just the dumbest thing. My brain can't even keep up with how dumb it is.

I only watched Ange Vierge and Cerberus out of the 4. The former is a fun ecchi action series with a predictable and repetitive plot and I mildly enjoyed the latter, the ending is at least satisfyingly conclusive. Didn't like how the romance was so one dimensional though.

Are these and all the Funi/CR ones digitally released on iTunes or Amazon the uncensored home video versions, especially for Big Order and Ange Vierge?
I've seen the broadcast versions being sold digitally on Amazon of other anime.

Probably because Pony Canyon US has already released the home video version and Pony Canyon is also one of the Japanese producers for Garakowa

So will Big Order not get a dub like previously announced? And on that topic, where’s the Twin Stars Exorcists release?
