Dat cast! Dat staff! Trailer looked great. Hearing Miyuki in my ears gets me every time. I'm watching this now.

Okada's original stuff tend more often than to be bad. We'll see if this is one of the good one's.

I bet this film will fail in the box office once it releases. None of it grabs my attention and the premise is just formulaic given how Okada is only good for shoving unnecessary love triangles and teen romance in her works. Plus, the fact that P.A. Works is behind this is giving me mixed feelings of how this film will turn out. If it’s trying to be the next KyoAni or something with their production and visuals, they’re gonna have to try hard than this.

I think I've reached the point where the mere mention of Mari Okada's name puts me on the fence. A lot of her stuff is pretty good, but some of her work feels like she's on some kind of quest to try and write the worst anime of all time. Black Rock Shooter was at times physically painful to watch.

As a fan of Okada I am interested in this movie. She has written some of my favorite anime shows.

The trailer looks beautiful. I'm going to give this a try. It is vaguely Hosoda-esque, perhaps more fantastical, but I am interested in these main characters and if their relationship is more brother/sister or parent/child. Immortality is a cliche plot point for bad guys doing bad things, but the hopefully Okada can focus more on these character relationships without letting them get lost in the scale of the story's ideals.
I look back on Anohana and am really optomistic. Then I look at The Lost Villiage...they don't even seem to be written by the same person. At the helm this time around, perhaps it will be more consistent. Worth a look. Based on the visuals alone, I am definitely interested.

I really dig the actual premise. It has a benjamin button-esque vibe to it. Seeing how their relationship changes as their age difference changes could be pretty interesting to see.

This looks, and sounds, gorgeous. Wish the trailer were subbed.
