Wow, Kyoto Animation will be busy next year with these projects.

Sounds interesting, can't wait to give it at try Very Happy
I'm guessing this will air Spring 2018 at earliest, Summer 2018 possibly too.

It looks like something I may take a chance on. I would like to see the staff working on this show before I have any more thoughts on it. Since it’s being broadcast by NHK, I assume that Crunchyroll will be able to get this one. One thing for sure is that it’ll least look pretty.

Well, I’m down. I’ve always thought Japanese archery to be a beautiful sport, so I’m excited to watch an anime dedicated to it. Especially one that’s animated by KyoAni.

Cool, more sports anime is a good thing and I can't recall too many about archery. Looking forward to this.

Glad KyoAni are doing another cute boys show since the Free! franchise has fizzled out (I'm hoping Funimation will dub the films). Can't wait to see how they depict archery in this new project!

Yes because Free! invented shows with sports settings and a male cast /sarcasm off

Good to see them make a TV series announcement. I was wondering what their next project would be, and they seemed to be taking a little longer than usual to announce it. Or I'm just getting impatient because of suspected moves toward more film productions. Of course I'm fine with that too, but a season with a KyoAni TV series is always a pleasure, so it would sad to see them move to films entirely and immediately.

I love that art, and sounds like a nice novel. I love archery, and have been interested in Japanese archery for a while. I'll definitely watch. ^u^

Free! is still going strong merch-wise, but it is their go-to for cute boys as an anime/actual show, so yeah, definitely nice to see something new.
