Tsuredure Children (TV) Genres: comedy, romance Themes: Plot Summary: Young love — it takes many unique and fascinating forms that flourish as children begin to mature into adults. From being unable to confess to not knowing what real love actually feels like, various obstacles can arise when learning about romantic attraction for the first time. But underneath all that, young love is something truly beautiful to behold, leading to brand new experiences for those young and in love. Tsurezure Children depicts various scenarios of young love coming to fruition, along with the struggles and joys that it entails. ---------------------------------- Hard to pick a favorite couple; there are too damn many.  I do favor the third one pictured (redheadxtwin tails)....but they're all cute and precious, really.

I have been quite enjoying it too. In episode 2 I especially thought the whole bratty little sister thing was funny, and in episode 3 you had the mum walking in bit.

Oh god, the Mom walking in was hysterical. Chiibi, please post your screenshots here! And just to refresh my memory, that couple in the bedroom was the couple where she thought they'd being dating for a year, but he didn't realize it, right?

Yup, this couple is ChiakixKana. I've managed to hang onto their names....somehow.... Kana thought they had been dating for a year and Chiaki didn't have a clue.

Episode 5 There wasn't anything as funny as last week's okasan coitus interruptus but a pretty good one, nonetheless. Got the classic childhood friends sitch. The two texters was actually pretty funny too, especially the way it ended. Looking forward to seeing how that plays out. |

Yeah, I thought that the end of the texting one was pretty funny, it did have me laughing out loud.
And we had another good mum moment where that one character's mum knew his childhood friend had a crush on him like it was no secret. |

 Chiibi, if you haven't already, you should probably pm Tony K. and let him know you posted this, to make sure it gets added to the list of discussion threads.
I'm so bad with character names that if there are more than 5 primary characters, my brain goes up in smoke. I think this is the first short-form series I've had to make a handy-dandy guide to. Gods, I can't even imagine trying to sort these all out on silent, static, black and white manga pages. I can barely cope in color. 
The redhead that Love Master Katori dubbed "Koneko" - she's new, isn't she? At first I thought she was Kanda, but Kanda has blue eyes, and Koneko's eyes were gray, and her hair seemed to have more drill-curl going on. I think she's a one-off like Matsuura, the purple ponytail girl who kept drop kicking him. I could be wrong - have we seen either of these girls in any other context? Edit: her name appears to be Kazuko Hosokawa, fwiw. At first I figured Katori would have a new target each new segement, but now I'm thinking he'll be bouncing between Hosokawa and Matsuura. But lol at him taking the kitten up into the tree. That was funny on several levels.

Episode 7
This is seriously one of the funniest shows on right now. The first segment with the teasing girl and the imouto was absolutely classic. I loved how Teasing Girl figured out it was the sister right off the bat. The imouto's ignorance of what TG was alluding to was hilarious. Then Texting Guy with Dating Master ... too funny. Dating Master is one of my favourite characters. Really love this show. |

He shoots! De-nied! :lmao: I dunno, I think Katori-sempai and Hosokawa are better at the role-playing games than Chiaki and Kana. They just don't know they're rping.

Katori is hilarious each time with his chuuni love master act. And how Hosokawa gets into it, only makes it better.
I was thinking about some of how this show works reminds me of Nozaki-kun in terms I wold say playing around with expectation of romance. But the Katori bits really do instead feel like something from Nichijou. |

I already knew this, but eppie 8 confirmed it: the only character in the entire show I don't like is the glasses guy. Part of it is the actual character design: I just don't like it. A lot of it is his obnoxious attitude. I don't enjoy the dynamic between his pushy behaviour and the "yanqui's" nervous/irritated response. I'd love to see them never again or her with somebody else.

^ I get why they make you uncomfortable, but I love them. He's a Dom, she's a sub, and they're perfect for each other. I don't think they're in love, yet. They've just each found another person who matches their kink.
