Might not be another anime but I'm always down for more Kino, hope it can get a licensed release as well!

Huh, I didn't realize that Kino's didn't get a proper manga adaptation yet. Hopefully the manga will get licensed eventually since it doesn't seem like the light novels will.

Great! I hope it's successful and gets to the later stories the novel has.

Cool! Admittedly I'd rather have the original novels, and was lucky enough to pick up the first one during Tokyopop's ill-fated attempt at publishing light novels (the other one I'm grateful to them for was Welcome to the N.H.K which is much harsher than the anime or manga).
That said, I realise someone picking the novels up again is pretty unlikely really.
Hopefully someone will pick up the manga, as Kino's Journey was a good yarn and more of it in any form would be great.

Wow. Took 17 years to get a Manga adaptation. Anyways, hopefully these will get localized. To this day Kino's Journey is still my number 1 anime.

Even though it's been quite a while since the last time I watched it, I still consider it my favorite anime series of all time. I've always found it odd that the series seems to be a good seller (I mean, just look how many times it's been re-released), but the OVAs, and as has already been mentioned, the novels, just never really got a chance here. Well, here's hoping the manga makes it over.

I hope it gets licensed, if the novels won't.

While I can't say it's a dream come true (that would be if a new season is announced or if the rest of the novels get officially translated to English), this news still brightened up my day! Will definitely support the Japanese releases even if nobody picks the series up.

This gap has to be a record for a LN to get a manga adaptation.
