Seems like this new studio wasnt able to keep up with their scheduale and needs a recap ep so that they will be able to finish it up *-*

This doesn't bode well, but hopefully this mean that the rest of the series will keep the same level of quality we've had so far. I've been enjoying this series more than anything else this season, so I'd rather they miss an episode than watch the series spiral into a rushed mess.

Wonder if this is at all connected to last week's episode being 13 hours late?
Anyway, this series has been overperforming on production quality all season, so some kind of delay at some point was probably inevitable. |

I'm guessing that was on Crunchyroll's end because I saw the raw version was up, but it was delayed on CR. Wait a minute... it now says "Simulcast on Saturdays 9:00am EET" for me on CR. It used to air like 6-7pm EET on Fridays. What the fudge. |

That is just the placeholder time. Whenever they end up having a delayed episode because of production issues the time on the show's page sets to the time the delayed episode went up. |

Just because the TV broadcast made doesn't mean there weren't productions issues that caused the delay to streaming version. They could have been right to the wire to get it delivered to the TV station, and getting out to Crunchyroll a far lower priority. And any issues earlier in the chain would add latency to Crunchyroll who have do all their business on top of delivery of the episode Obviously, speculation there, but this week's production issue would indicate something on the production company's end. |

As long as this doesn't end up like what happened with Log riders I'll be fine. I mean even 3-gatsu no Lion had a recap episode of the first 11 episodes and that was made by Studio Shaft.
