Good luck. I definitely agree that the working conditions and pay should be better for animators in Japan and in general.

That has nothing to do with their mission plan, they want to make it easier for companies outside of Japan to outsource work to them.

I would like that too, but that has nothing to do with the article.

Hey (Henry Thurlow here) Thanks for the write up!
Just to clarify a couple things:
-Arthell and I are both establishing the company (Truth be told, him more-so than me.) ... I feel bad only my name`s mentioned in the title and not his.
-Also, Arthell is the Art Director of the Indigo Ignited pilot film. (And single-handedly painting all the backgrounds.)

That's great then, a fine way to invite more outside talent and improve the Japanese animation industry. I'm just hoping that they kept it going with using anime aesthetic if they want to make an original story, or at least with a style than an anime fans can like.
Wow, I can only managed to posted this after half an hour due to heavy server load.

@Afezeria, "Anne aesthetic", never heard of that. There is a great variety in the art style of animation made by Japanese studions, just compare Ping Pong with Nichijou.

I'll be quite happy if this turns out to be successful and eventually helps give us more experimental animation due to a higher output of collaboration works. Whatever ends up being the case, I hope the studio treats its animators well.

Thanks for the clarification on that. Sorry his art director credit got missed, but it's added in now!

I remved the extra posts. Don't worry about it. The servers were apparently having a wee bit of a hiccup and this same thing happened in other threads as well.If you see anymore instances of it just report one of the posts and mention it in the report and we'll clean them up. Thanks!

Sorry, I was just being bias and talking crap. Yeah, there shouldn't be any particular and static artstyle for anime in general. The more variety, the better.

I believe that Nakamura Productions is the most-prolific anime studio in the ANN Encyclopedia. I decided to go to a list generator site and the site listed 1321 titles. Other prolific leaders include Toei Animation with 695 whereas Bandai Visual has 550 and Sunrise has 496. I am counting their involvement only in the Japanese versions.
