Did someone change the font? everything looks slightly squished now. I didn't change any settings that I'm aware of and my computer is at normal zoom

The forum font is clearly different for me now as well, so something definitely got changed today.

Is there any way to have an option that we can use (or does anyone know a way to do it through Chrome)? This font badly hurts my eyes.

Yeah, this just looks really bad right now. It's almost like the font kerning isn't displaying properly.

It's a little jarring because of the apparent different font size but after one day I got used to it.

Easier for me to read, just the style font I'll have to get used to. Displays well on-screen.

Apologies to those of you who don't like it. Overall we've received so few comments about it, we need to assume that it doesn't bother most people.
The change was made in-line with recommendation for a better web-experience, unfortunately there is no such thing as a "1-size fits all" font. Right now we've pretty much frozen all development on anything but the encyclopedia, but I'll add user-selected fonts to the to-do list. -t |

Speaking of the encyclopedia, how is it coming?
The encyclopedia has to be a significant draw for the site. It is what brought me here a long time ago. At that time I still could get news from the magazines I bought (RIP). I used the encyclopedia for a few years before I looked at the rest of the site. I didn't register until I wanted to post. |
