If the CD is from a major label and the price is in the $15-$20 range, then it's totally possibly that it's a legitimate overseas version.

It's uncommon for there to be Asian mainland releases of anime soundtracks. Look at the distribution company. Sony, Avex, Pony Canyon and many other big J labels have mainland divisions

I probably wouldn't be able to tell a bootleg cd from a real one. As long as it plays on my computer or cd player, I'm a happy camper. Mr. Green

Anyone been to a site called [Bootleg Store -C]? The url escapes me, but almost all of thier anime CDs sell for about $10. ANyone know if it's a reliable site?

they're reliable, but they're also a bootleg store.. so in that sense, no, they're not reliable.

If you love it, support it. Pay full price, or at least don't buy a damn pirated bootleg. Great places to get authentic CDs are www.cdjapan.co.jp and www.amazon.co.jp. I can vouch for both of them....
