Hmm interesting director choices and visual as well. Not much shown in the PV but I'm excited.

I don't think they could have come up with a more generic, ugly, uninspired art style if they tried
and it's really easy to see the animation and cinematography will be 5/10 at best

destined to be forgotten trash within the first 30 seconds

Writer and director both have pretty good (though not infallible) track records - more hits than misses out of their stuff that I've watched. I'm definitely at least giving this a try.

Interesting premise...

As the video seems to have been removed, and I can't seem to find alternative trailers elsewhere, I can only speculate, but reading the synopsis they could be recently departed, in a world between life and death, a little akin to Angel Beats?...

The visual style in the PV was not what I was expecting after taking a glance at the key visual, but this certainly seems like an anime to keep an eye on when it airs.

The last time I saw an anime that had Okada involved and disappearing people...it was M3 The Dark Metal...

I'll be cautiously optimistic...Laughing

So, once again Mizushima has been called upon to direct something (at least from the first look) bleak and dark. Has the committee any brain at all? Mizushima shines when he does light hearted shows that may or may not have spastic comedy. Hare+Guu, Dokuro-chan, Ika Musume, Oofuri, Genshiken, Azazel, Legend of Koizumi, Garupan, Shirobako. These are the shows that have Mizushima at his best.

Why then do people try and get him to do horror? Sure xxxHolic wasn't that bad, but Blood C was a laughing stock and Another was mostly viewed as an unintentional comedy. I've been waiting to see what Mizushima could get his hands on next and I can't help but be extremely disappointed.

It should probably be noted I've made this same rant before.

If they are going to show all 30 characters, then this would have to be at least 24 episodes. I don't think you could cram enough character development for each character in just 12-13 episodes.
