I saw the Doraemon movie on the plane back to the States a few weeks ago. It was my first time ever watching Doraemon and I nearly cried.

Latest Doraemon movie is more popular in China than in Japan.

Doraemon film grossed about $70M throughout its entire run in Japan.

It took just 11 days in China to surpass that with $73M!
