Yes i do worry, the pacing is struggling as is and taking a break one a month doesn't help that anime by any stretch.
It will never happen but I really think One Piece could benefit from a Fairy Tail style 1 year break for the anime.

Maybe now that the DB Is comming back it will take the slot from One Piece for a Year (we dont know how many episodes the new DB will be held) and then OP Comes back after aan anime hiatus..

Dragon Ball Super will air in the same time slot that Dragon Ball Kai is currently airing (Sundays, 09:00 A.M.). If I'm not mistaken, One Piece time slot is on Sundays, 07:00 A.M.

While I don't really the One Piece anime or manga, with all the hard work Oda does in having children and doing a weekly best-seller, he deserves a break every now and then. Feel free to insert standard HxH jab.

One Piece airs Sundays, 09:30 A.M., right next to Dragon Ball Kai. Both of them make the "Strong 9" Time block!
Dragon Ball Super obviously will substitute Dragon Ball kai that is ending soon.
About the effect of this break in the anime of One Piece. There will be none. They already are tackling the 2 consecutive years with 9 breaks of Oda(due to health problems), with only adapting 2/3 of a chapter. This means that each 5 weeks they will adapt between 3-4 chapters, while Oda normally does breaks every 4 chapters(4 chapters in 5 weeks).
Note: This break is after 6 continuous weeks with chapters!

another break..
wow..
maybe the anime should take a 5 months break in exchange.. since it's like it's nothing new but fillers now a day
chopping off op+previous on+ed+next on.. you are down to a 16-17 minutes episode (more or less)
but then that 16-17 minutes included fillers
well.. at least it's a long running series
seeing how World Trigger is getting the same treatment is kind of annoying for a series that is only 30 something episodes long so far
if you are watching the series-- one episode after the next i don't see the point of previous on.... but i guess it's common to drag it out...

This arc really reminds me of the 5 minutes of doom in the Freiza arc (DBZ). It really doesn't help that case if the dressrosa arc lasted over 2 years. Buuuuut I also like how Oda is spacing this because he does need a break once in a while for his own sake.

This is where Shonen Jump has no idea how to handle shit. We have seen this numerous times. We are at this point again and we're just going to sit and watch everything fall apart.

I really doubt OP would take a one year break, as Toei tends to keep its more popular series going no matter what, stopping only when the manga ends (and often not even then, as we saw with Dragon Ball and the various Saint Seyia follow-ups which are still being made.) The most likely course of action is a long filler arc.

It's a good thing I have MHA to curb the wait though I can't wait for this arc to end.

The anime is in such a sorry state right now that it doesn't even matter at this point. Hell, the manga is in a sorry state. It feels like Oda is dragging Dressrosa out with no idea how to end the arc so he's just inserting panel after panel of what feels like gunk filler into each chapter, so when the anime starts getting closer to this point there's no way one episode is going to be able to stretch one chapter to fit, because the chapters are already stretched to the max. Worse, because the current arc is nowhere near finished in the anime, there's no chance of a filler arc any time soon. Honestly, Oda needs to wrap up Dressrosa in the manga, Toei needs to just catch up to it in a quality way, and then take a break, FT style, because there's not going to be a way to add a filler arc with the crew split, either. OP is in a really bad position right now and Toei needs to suck it up and start making contingency plans now.
Meh. TBH, I haven't watched an episode for about three months... I'm waiting until Dressrosa is finished so I can marathon it and skip the 10-12 minutes of opening filler inserts in each episode, because the longer OP arcs get, the worse the opening filler recaps get, seriously.

Never going to happen
they do 1 chapter per episode at most these days, sometimes even less
plus they're like 50 or so behind i think.
I've never wanted a show to have fillers more than one piece.

That doesn't help with the current stuff, though.
