For the record, JAL has painted Tamagotchis on at least one of their domestic 747s, so they aren't completely behind ANA in paintjobs.

Seems like the 787 would be a bit of an odd match for JAL's route structure.

Oh wow, this will look neat. Does anyone have any pictures?(old or new) I couldn't find any.
As far as route roles it doesn't surprise me much at all. The 787 was built with a multi-role purpose in mind. Anyone more interested in that subject I suggest you read James Thayer's 2 year old, very well written article about the two newest jets, and why Airbus has gotten pigeonholed. Note: As somewhat of an aeronautics guru, I must point out that I consider the A380 to be an absolutely awesome airplane. I just think it was built at a poor time in history. |
