I won't lie, the new sprites and battle animation looks impressive. But as usual, once we start playing the games, I'll get sick of them quickly and just turn them off in order to finish the game more quickly.

I think it's time for Pokemon to revamp its gameplay for the next generation. Even X and Y are more or less just prettier versions of Red and Blue.

0:42 in the first video, am I seeing stars reflecting on the water? That is so beautiful, I could cry.

I was able to download the Demo version of the game and it's short, but enjoyable. I didn't like the changes to the Aqua/Magma personnel in terms of character design, and the stupid arrow that points to what action you want to do during battle was annoying. I liked X & Y's set-up more.

I also saw that there will be a Shiny Beldrum (with Metagross Megaevolution stone) distribution starting November 21. Steven uses a Shiny Metagross in the demo, so it'll be nifty to be able to get one too.

Okay, Question. In Omega Ruby is Team Magma the bad guys, and in Alpha Saphire Team Aqua is the bad guys? Because if both take the Emerald approach, it's going to be kinda a bummer.

^ I'm assuming the same set-up will happen, with Magma pursuing Groundon in Ruby and Aqua going after Kyogre in Sapphy. Although, in the demo, they did team up as they were both in pursuit of Mega Glalie (or Mega Steelix in the Japanese version).
