Comic Walker has been pretty disappointing so far.

I have to agree. They have the best reader application and mobile applications out of all the manga services I have tried but there is just no content. What little content does get updated regularly are strange web comics I doubt too many people have an interest in. Cross Ange certainly isn't a title I am going to start reading either but some people might.

Unless you're into Gundam The Origin or Sgt. Frog, Comic Walker has been totally worthless. Why start reading something on that site when it will probably never be updated after the first few chapters get posted?

Kadokawa's heart clearly isn't in this, and they should probably just pull the plug. They're all but ceding the market to piracy by failing so conspicuously.

The manga adaptation of Cross Ange seems to follow the anime from what know of the first couple episodes, but seems to be lacking in the fanservice and edginess of the anime.

I agree with configspace - it's sort of watered down. But if you're curious, I did write a brief review of it in the most recent RTO.
