Gugure! Kokkuri-san (TV) Genres: comedy, slice of life, supernatural Plot Summary: A little girl named Kohina ends up summoning a Kokkuri-san, a lower-ranking ghost in Japanese folklore. The Kokkuri-san she calls ends up being a white-haired handsome, young man. Although he had intended to merely haunt her at first, he becomes worried about her terrible eating habit of cup ramen for every meal, so he decides to haunt her in order to protect her. ---------------------------------- Episode 1: Well, that was amusing, at least how it began. The little girl Kohina has a weird appearance but an interesting personality for someone her age. Oh well, I expect this series to be more of a comedy rather than anything serious. The fox guy reminds me a little of Tomoe from Kamisama Kiss but with perhaps a more serious stature. Overall, I think the show has potential when it comes to slice of life + comedy. Looking forward to more! |

The fox sure is nice looking ^^ Reminds me of Tomoe from Kamisama Hajimemashita. That fox sure had some parental feels for the girl. Her situation sure is a sad and lonely one. Fox got attached with lightning speed. This one is pretty amusing. Indecisive about it.. |

Cute show, I will keep watching. It sorta reminded me of Barakamon since Kokkuri interactions with her reminded me of Handa playing with the kids, especially since they have the same va.

Yeah, this seems like it'll be a nice replacement for Barakamon.

Very cute. I kinda got pissed at Foxy spoiler[getting rid of all her cup ramen, though. That cup ramen seemed really important to her] and he should have respected that.

This ended up being a lot funnier than I expected. Not that I'm complaining, of course. So far, this is definitely the best new show of the season for me.
Highlights include the bits with the salt/potato starch, Kokkuri-san and the laptop, and of course the ending song and animation (which I believe is actually the opening). Looking forward to next week's episode already! |

Episode 1
The first episode has made this instantly a must watch. He looks a lot like Tomoe, which is not all that bad, but more importantly he is voiced by Daisuke Ono, who did Handa in Barakamon. Daisuke Ono did great as Handa where he bounced off really well with the child characters, and it feels like that exact same energy here. A big difference of this compared to Barakamon is that it seems that it will incorporate black comedy. Making light of exactly how dark her situation is, and making fun of Also, the episode's ED was godly, Bishies getting their boogie on, and a transformation sequence. |

I'll have to see another episode or two; if they won't push the bishie fanservice too hard, it might turn out to be very enjoyable.

Very sweet.
Also, where I can apply for the adoption of the Bishi-dog? |

I found this series highly enjoyable and am really glad I decided to watch it
I was surprised at just how funny it actually was, as the description I read of it before the series aired really didn't jump out at me. The part at the beginning when she kept asking him to leave really made me laugh and that's when I knew this show was going to be for me. Hopefully the rest of the series can continue being just as good |

I thought Kohina was a ghost since there are flowers on her desk, which are always put on a dead student's desk. But she talked with the mascot guy so I guess she is alive.
Fox and Dog won't like reddit. Cats are favored there |

What a strange OP song.
More so, what a strange episode. I didn't expect spoiler[Inugami to pull out a gun nor go gender bender for a moment] in the latest episode. |

Kokkuri san is so cuuuuuuuute in his fox form! Very happy with casting OnoD as Kokkuri san. I can totally hear Handa whenever he shrieks or cries.
Kohina's smile, LoL. Inugami is very amusing too. |

That was hilarious. Although, on second thought, I'll pass on filling out the adoption forms for Inugami for now.
