Were there a lot of folks in the theater with you? I went to the theater one Monday and there were a few Naruto Trailer/promo before the movie started. unfortunately I am still preparing for my final two finals tomorrow. So I won't be able to see Naruto tonight, then again I didn't really have any desire considering I am having a good time with the uncut boxes and I don't really want to ruin that with filler type movies. "Believe it!"

Apparently there was not a single instance of "BELIEVE IT" in this film. At least not one I noticed. Good change. Razz

It was fun seeing the reaction of the audience to Naruto's NA voice actress. (Hey, she does a good voice, the fact that she's not you know HOT does not detract from her value.)

Of course, compared to Japan's Naruto... whoah smokin'.

Us Canucks get in on June 23. Two days after my B-Day, so I may see it with some buds, if only it wasn't at 10:00 AM, seriously, WTF chose that time?

At the point CN is at in the series, I haven't heard Naruto say that for quite some time. Perhaps I've simply become so inured to it that I don't notice it, but I think he's leaving the phrase behind. Could be wrong.

I failed. I drove 120 miles round trip to see it and was there an hour before showtime but it was sold out . Guess I should've bought tickets in advance.

Another Canadian here complaining about the 10am Saturday screening... but I'm planning to go and see it with huge bunch of friends. I mean, that's what it's all about, it's a social occasion, and to show Viz and others that anime is worth showing in theaters.

My theater was packed, there were very few empty seats, which was kind of surprising. ^-^ It was fun, glad I went.

I don't believe I've heard it at all since he and Sasuke were in the crystal ice mirors, maybe except for one instance where Sasuke mocks him for saying it, and maybe another where he says it in one of the previews, but that's about it. I believe it's dead and gone by now. I've even noticed how Maile Flanagan has been doing a much better job of playing the role since, although I thought she was doing a great job in the first place, just better now.

Yeah, but that's because Maile's like, what, 60 years old? Wink

Oh, and about the movie, I didn't go see it, but only because it wasn't playing anywhere near me. Crying or Very sad Oh well, I'll just get it on DVD.

Edited for spelling. Embarassed Thanks Iritscen. Anime smile + sweatdrop

Maile (some have been writing Malie) basically looks like my elementary school librarian. Although it's rare to see someone her age doing a main role in anime, I'm happy with the job she does; I'm just generally pleased with Viz's dub, in fact. VAs don't have to be lookers, in any case.

But Kyaa, your statement "compared to Japan's Naruto" makes it sound like Maile is hot compared to Junko Takeuchi, but I think you just meant that Junko is a hottie, which she is.

Oh yeah, baby.

I saw it at the theatre in in Framingham, Ma. For something that was sold out when we got there, they still manged sell us tickets. Rolling Eyes It was decent, only they decided to change the name of Princess Fuun to Princess Gail/Gale. I was kinda hoping they would show the Konoha Sports Festival before/after the movie, but instead of that they showed a semi-introduction to the Naruto universe before and the making of the movie afterwards.
The audience was okay, had some 'tards in the front, but in all the reaction was expected. Saw some cosplayers too.

The best thing was when they first showed Sasuke...half the theatre cheered while the other half booed. Laughing
