I think this will be the final one, hence "F" as in final. The two season covered LN vol 1-7 and then jumped to vol 11. I thought there would be a 3rd TV season covering vol 8, 9, 10 & 12. But it turns out to be an OVA that will probably cover only vol 12. Well at least we get to see the ending of the series.

S2 dropped in sales a lot. So they decided to do the same as with Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu and just cover the final with an OVA(or couple of OVAs).

I dislike hastur so very much.
i hated xebec before they worked on this show and I really disliked how they ruined it. the net OVAs were exactly what I wanted, they were so good. I like all those characters. hastur is so annoying it makes me hate moe things. and he is doing the whole boys love thing totally wrong. Of course, I own the first series and the 2nd is preorderd and i have lots of nyaruko goods, but it is annoying how all these kids on crunchyroll think it is a good show when sales clearly show otherwise. |

Hope it gets more than one OVA. I enjoyed season 1, 2 was so-so, but I would like to see it get an actual ending.
If F is multiple episodes, I wonder if NISA would end up getting it? It'd be disappointing to not be able to buy the ending to this after having them release the first 2 seasons. |

I am curious have you actually read the LNs. Because from what I heard even native speakers had and issue with how complex the novels were, which is one of the reasons no one has translated them, and probably never will. So I am just curious on how you come to the conclusion that the anime is such a bastardization. I want to stress I have no problem with anyone who dislikes this show, and I don't want to criticize anyone's opinion. But honestly you come off as some snot nosed brat deriding users on crunchyroll who like it as kids, because of course sales are the only indicator of quality and the sales were not that great. But moving on, I want them to address one thing in the OVA, Mahiro's dad. I mean they kind of went out of their way not to show him, and his face is obscured when we do see him, and usually this means he has some importance. I heard a rumor that he was Aztoth, which would explain why aliens find him so desirable, and also be the perfect nod of acknowledgement to Lovecraftian Lore as Nyarahohtep was a direct servant of Aztoth. Also it would kind of make more sense as to why his mother was a alien hunter. |

Season 1 was great, season 2 was okay. I have no problems with more Nyarko.

It's a bit sad to see the series coming to a conclusion this way; I was hoping for a season 3 covering the rest of the LN arcs and then finishing it. Still, I'm glad that we're at least getting something, and maybe the OVA will be a couple of episodes instead of just one.

it is a fact most of the users on crunchyroll are young: because their age and sex are posted under their forum name. this is not a new feature. second of all, you are right, it is my opinion. Just like your opinion is to take offense at anyone who does not agree with your opinion. listen, I am looking at the crunchyroll forum right now, and 3 of the top 5 forum posts are: if you can have a mythical pet, what would it be? should I marry a disney princess about running away if you want to argue with me that's cool, but get your facts straight. I dont care for immature people who take offense at every post on the internet. as for your question: it is irrelevant whether or not the comedy is true the original writing. none of that matters. just because this is a comedy, it does not mean everyone has to run around screaming like bugs bunny. adults prefer adult humor - which is what nyaruko should have been. look at Seinfeld, one of the most successful comedies ever. only one guy ran around screaming, not 5 of them. nyaruko should have been an intellectual comedy - not slapstick, which is what the original net animations were, which is why I like them far better. |

personally, I prefer season 2 but it could just be because the nyaruko W opening is really cool |
