I really think FLCL had a big part in this style of animation -.-
It's kinda gross looking but it looks pretty hillarious. When i'm in the mood for humor, i'll probably check this out.

Yeah, Kyo, that's pretty much what I was thinking too. It's sort of like FLCL meets, um...I dunno, Heavy Metal 2000 or something. It definitely looks strange, though.

well it seems similar to furi kuri due to the fact that Production I.G is producing it.

Also, according to the ANN Encyclopedia, it's directed by one of the animation directors of FLCL.

Well, I knew Production I.G. was going to create this series. I seen concept art of the characters a while back. I know if it's Production I.G., it's bound to be good.
But I didn't know that it's directed by one of the animation directors of FLCL. That's pretty interesting.

Production I.G. animated FLCL also looks like they used the same staff for this...
for some reason i get a very Western feel from this show.

Yeah, I felt a cartoonish feeling when I seen the worlds 'Imaitoonz' came on the screen. What is Imaitoonz?

Actually, the style is more reminiscent of 60's American monster car art than FLCL. And it looks like it has elements of Aeon Flux and Cool World as well.
