Just a question with all these musical performances and all. How long will each one perform? I mean if they all do a proper concert will there be time for anime and manga? Time to do both?

I think this is the first time since I've become "con aware" that I've been completely envious of my west coast anime fan counterparts. I can only pray that Otakon is this sweet. At least on paper AX is shaping up to be godly.

Halko was performing in Akiba long before Shoko even made her debut, Halko is the rightful queen. Ya, I know I said I wasn't going to post, but I'll make an exception for this. Was wondering when they were going to announce it. |

Yeah im sure the staff coordinators of Otakon are feeling miniscule in comparison to the number of music talent coming to one convention; though they have not released any information on their guest of now. I actually have a good feeling about what they are going to bring us, maybe on par to past performances like L arc and TM Revolution.

I am going to assume that you have never been to any kind of convention. During a convention there is always the main hall. At Anime Expo the main hall is pretty much the dealers hall. The schedule for 07 is not up yet but I'm pretty sure it is going to be crazy. Basically there are always panels going on for the duration and other things going on as well. So if you don't go to the concerts, stand in line or something, you can go to the video rooms instead or to the arcade or to the other events going on at the same time. |

WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THIS CONVENTION!??!?!
 every other frickin week they have giant people comming. if Expo keeps having at least some things like this for years to come they might as well call it Anime Eden. actually that should be the name now. the only reason they can do this is because california has so much money in it that they can get whatever the f*ck they want.
its official. the east coast anime community has lost its purpose. Otakon is now a corpse. i cant believe this. California for anime fans has become an Akihabara outpost with all the events that happen that arent even IN cons. who the hell is next!? |
