Lots of good stuff coming to the PSN. Wow, didn't expect to see Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter to be mentioned in this column. Man that was debate that couldn't calm down.

I have determined that whenever another 'The X Button' is put up there will be some kind of really important game announcement either a few hours before or a few hours after.

It was the game that divided the fan base after all. I'm not really surprised. Not like Capcom can do right by Breath of Fire at this point, especially with the recent horrible mobile release.

Oh my gawd. Breath of Fire.
That's like, my favorite game franchise.
Dragon Quarter is also my favorite of the series, since they decided to switch a bit around the usual rpg mechanics, making a quite unique experience.
I'll do my best to have a second place entry! Or a third, or even a fourth. Not a first, since I'm not quite fond of the Drakengard series.
I really want that Breath of Fire copy, the one I have doesn't have a cover or even a manual.
Also, thanks for upgrading the word limit, I always thought that 100 words was totally not enough.
Well, I guess it has to do with it being something more about creativity than opinion.

They can always do another Castlevania with Julius after he regained his memory since older male protagonists seem to be coming into vogue.

I suppose I should add another rule: if you really want the second-place prizes more than the first-placer, mention that in your submission.
But really, this is a nice box set with very classy packaging. Lookit:

Honestly is their anyone who can do the 1999 Demon Castle War justice? Igarashi has left Konami, Konami itself has basically abandoned internally developing their own games outside of the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Who do they have left to actually code the game? If they did do the Demon Castle War the developers that Konami would choose to make it would be Climax whose best game was Sudeki for the Xbox.

Poor Konami.
-Yu-Gi-Oh games have mostly stopped production due to the online dueling programs out there cannibalizing the audience. We had to push hard for the one Zexal game we got. Amazing game, BTW. Shame we can't get more though.
-Ganbare Goemon hs stopped production to to low popularity I guess.
-Silent Hill and Castlevania have been sold off to western developers for the worse. Though when the original team disbands that's about all you can probably do, just make money off the licensing and let other people run it into the ground rather than get your own hands dirty
-Metal Gear Solid is about all they have left, thanks to Kojima no doubt.
I guess nothing gold can stay in the end.

Very, VERY happy to see Nocturne on the PSN. ^___^ I wish they'd hurry up and release Raido 2.

Shh! You're making me envious with all thoses photos, now I kind of want the first place...
Oh, and I just learned something: the song in the trailer of Drakengard 3 (this silence is mine) is sung by Chihiro Onitsuka, who also sang Castle*Imitation, which is the ending theme for Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter.

Why whenever someone talks about the core SMT games they have to draw some kind of comparison to Persona? I mean obviously Persona is an SMT spin-off, but the only real similarity is Persona uses the demons from SMT to fill their Persona roles. Other then that they aren't particularly similar other then being JRPGs made by the same company. Gameplay wise they are worlds apart. For one thing SMT doesn't get bogged down with living the life of a boring high school student when there are more important things going on.
Oh snap.

I'm so excited to play Nocturne. I wish it was available on the vita psn store and not just PS3 one.

Lighthearted and humorous, so is that a yes or no on a baby eating elf getting eaten by a giant baby? In all seriousness I do my best to avoid any information about story based game coming out because trailer and such usually spoil the entire game, so I guess it's possible that the tone of the game seriously changed since 1 and 2 I just don't know.
Man dragon quarter, I tried so many time to play that game but could never finish it cause timer in game drive me freaking nuts, same deal with major's mask and some harvest moon. Makes me really sad we'll most likely never see a BoF6, 4 was such a great game.
Lair was… ambitious (crap). Drakengard 2 was pretty fun, they dialed down from the craziness of one and that generally made it seem like an inferior version, but it had many good part, it gave a really satisfying ending to Caim and Angelus. Nowe just couldn't hold a candle next to Caim as far as MC goes.

You asked the question and then listed all the extremely obvious reasons people bring up Persona when SMT is mentioned.
