That penultimate chapter! Don't play with my heart, manga! You better follow through on best girl winning!

I agree completely! It's been a fun ride, and TWGOK has become one of my favorite manga, but its going to be sad seeing it go...

It's really about hightime but with the ending so nigh. Can't avoid feeling a tad sad.

Otsukare, TWGOK-sensei...

As much as I like the series, he picked the worst girl possible. Sure she has some of followers, but he probably ticked off more than half of his readers with that choice, probably closer to the majority. Hopefully it was a troll cliff hanger, and in the final chapter something else happens.

Kaori is the best girl. I wanted another showdown between her and Keima.

Not really when you think about how Chihiro was the only person to leave some lasting mark on Keima. She was the only person who was able to make him realize that he couldn't pull his 2d dating sim moves on people without people getting hurt in the long run. She's the one that made him realize that he needed to be in the real world and that life isn't just a crappy game.

I'm not a big fan of Chihiro but story wise she makes the most sense for the ending that's happening.

Seriously, the whole goddess arc was a build up to Keima growing up from his past views. The whole series has him go from "life is a crappy game" to "I'm glad I was able to meet everyone, I want to walk with them as we move on"

Exactly. She's also one of two girls who loves the real Keima. He didn't have to pretend to be someone else to get her to fall for him.

@ninjapet @Vaisaga

Yeah, she's my choice too when it comes to the girls of TWGOK, nice seeing that confession. Smile

Now, Wakaki, you better not screw that up in the closing chapter...

Well, if you combine the phrase "finish his game" and the fact he had to end the Chihiro route during the Goddesses Arc without completion, I would hazard a guess that this is cliffhanger set-up. Also, there's the other end of the equation here, Chihiro's response.

And this is coming from someone in favor of it. Seriously, only one girl? The guy's a god, he should really aim for the harem ending...

Liked pointed out above, it's because Chihiro's the one that made him realize the consequences of the real world. As she really loves him and made him realize that not everything can follow the route of a dating sim.

He'd rather go with one that truly loved him before the whole runaway spirit thing happened than one he basically forced those feelings on. Although I guess Tenri would be considered like Chihiro too, but she's seemingly been friend-zoned I guess.

The one thing I'm happy with is that Elsie spoiler[, or I guess Eri now, finally became Keima's real sister. As she had a choice and came back as a human and is no longer a demon(as Haqua can't remember her).]

The only thing that I'd like to see in the final chapter is spoiler[what happened to Nikaido? As it's not mentioned so far if she died. ]

I'm a bit confused about what went on with Elsie. spoiler[So she was some kind of ancient super weapon? What? That kinda came out of nowhere and didn't really seem to add much to anything.]

Why is everyone spoiler tagging the Elsie stuff while talking publicly about Chihiro? I mean, both are technically spoilers. I'm disappointed he appears to be choosing ANYONE that isn't Tenri (ie. Tenri or harem), because 10 years, TEN F'ING YEARS! She's also the one that has always REALLY taken note of how Keima feels.

If the Chihiro ending goes thru (unless she's SOMEHOW secretly Yokkyun), then that's disappointing ESPECIALLY since Keima said he's aiming for an ending where EVERYONE is happy.

Yeah, it's quite confusing. She was basically spoiler[a powerful ancient weapon that always used to do evil things. She was reincarnated & disguised as Elsie. Dokoro Skull was the only one that knew what she really was and kept her hidden as that faction's "ultimate weapon". Which the "loose soul" group was essentially created just to hide her.

But when Keima went back in time & the current time was erased, Elsie's body was basically destroyed(as that timeline cease to exist) and she reverted back to her ancient weapon form. Which Dokoro Skull planned and was supposed to attack.

However her time with Keima made her realize that she didn't want to destroy and wanted to become part of his family. Which this current chapter shows that her wish came true, as she's now his real sister.]

I know it's confusing, but I blame that on the author rushing this and not explaining the situation well. As what she really was was only given about half a chapter.
