Meh, never really liked Soul Eater Not but I'll give it a shot when it airs. It'll be interesting to see how the Soul Eater characters look in the new anime style.

Broadcast that late; that's about the same time Soul Eater comes on Toonami.

Hopefully this series also gets licensed by Funi with its original cast . Not to mentioned also getting and AS broadcast cause if they can do a simul broadcast with Space Dandy , they can probably do the same for soul eater not. if the original does well enough viewership wise but i have my doubts.

Scumbag Studio Bones: 'Soul Eater' has just ended and they announce new anime. Adaptation of manga spin-off nobody liked.

Not everybody shares your opinion, you know.
Its actually one of my most anticipated anime of spring 2014.

Like Black*Star after trying to cheat on an exam? Or Kidd when he realizes that he forgot to fold the toilet paper correctly?

I highly doubt a show like Soul Eater Not will ever air on Toonami, much less air as a simulcast show. Toonami primarily airs action-orientated series and Soul Eater Not is a slice of life series with some action speckled around but definitely not enough action to be considered the kind of show Toonami would want to air. Soul Eater Not is also very moe and while there's nothing wrong with moe I don't think a lot of Toonami watchers likes moe slice of life series.
Plus while Soul Eater may be relatively popular doesn't mean Soul Eater Not will be too, so airing a show that is 1.) a spin off, so people who have watched the original are most likely the only audience interested and 2.) radically different from the original so everyone who liked the Soul Eater anime might not like Soul Eater Not isn't exactly the best thing to do to garner ratings. If Toonami is ever gonna do another simulcast, they're probably gonna air something that will have a broader appeal to a wider demographic and audience.
The chances of Funimation licensing Soul Eater Not is pretty good, though. I believe Soul Eater was a successful series for them, so they might see some profit for licensing and dubbing Soul Eater Not too. Again, it might be profitable since Soul Eater Not has a mixed reaction from the Soul Eater fans.

I honestly can't imagine anybody but Funimation picking this up, even if it IS radically different from the original Soul Eater, but I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.

I'd say you're fairly spot on; I was hoping Soul Eater Not could premiere on Toonami much like Space Dandy does. It's not that far off from when Soul Eater's run is ending (this upcoming Saturday). Then again, if they haven't started dubbing it now, it'd be hard to catch up. Especially since Laura Bailey lives in LA now (although if it's not gonna be dubbed for a few months, I'm sure she'd fly out).
I'm pretty sure FUNimation is gonna simulcast this. I think Soul Eater sold fairly well for them.

I think she was already in LA by the time she was cast as Maka; I recall being pretty surprised that they'd managed to snag her as the lead in Soul Eater.

It wouldn't really be a challenge for Not! Maka appears, but not often. She could record her lines remotely for this series.

Well considering the great lengths they get to get arron dismuke and the other FMA cast to do the premium OVAs as well as brotherhood when most of that cast no longer lived in the forth wood area i woulnt be surprised at all if they do the same for miss bailey if she wants to reprise maka alburn's role. though the entire cast of soul eater might be a little more tricky if a majority if not all of them no longer live in the forth wood area.

Well that sucks. if not is more like a moe slice of life series and not action orientated like its predecessor, then its definitely not gonna work for AS.
Probably would be better if AS get the broadcast license for like Fairy Tail since its similar to naruto and bleach in the shonen category and not a slice of life series which will bomb even bigger than moribito.
