Bishounens seem to have become more popular recently, so anything could happen. |

Wow, the series is that far in the light novels? I should try to find and read the novels to catch up. If there's a second arc, the story has to be good from where it stopped.

Which is a shame, because the show was undeniably better when it focused on the range of characters instead of just Kida. Second half totally lost my interest. |

Yeah,if they make second season I hope they focus more on actually interesting characters rather than boring and angsty teenagers. |

My dreams for DRR!! in 2014:
-2nd season of the anime announced -Yen Press licenses the light novels, even if it's only three at a time -AoA does a reprint of the DVDs If even one of these happens, there will be much rejoicing~! By the way, how did the anime do in Japan? |

Quite well. However, it was one of the most inconsistent I've seen when it comes to sales. You can see the full Oricon sales detail here. Basically vol 1 sold almost 30k copies while volume 12 sold under 12k. That's what I meant by inconsistent. |

Jeez sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one who didn't find the second half to be that bad...
Anyway, it is nice to hear something out of this series since it's hard to find ways to read the actual books and from some of the illustrations I've seen it looks like some interesting things happen. |

Thanks for the link. Looks like there was a gradual drop as the series progressed. I went to Japan in 2010 and it seemed like there was a lot of press for DRR!!, so I'm glad to know it did all right. Hopefully that bodes well for a new season. |

Hopefully the manga will continue past the anime to follow the LN; pleasing news either way!

*Fingers crossed for a 2nd season of anime*
Also for the Light Novels to get an English release. Maybe if the Accel World & Sword Art Online Light novles do really well and prove that there's a market for them... |
