Dear Japan,
We're taking your idols. We hope you don't mind. Here, have a Big Mac in return. |

I know, the UCLA medical student is so lucky, good luck to Ayumi and the student. I wonder what's the chance of that. (*dreaming about me ending up being a fiancee of Sooyoung of SNSD in the future*) |

Cougar! It's funny they always have to preface J-engagement announcements about whether or not she's pregnant (shotgun weddings aren't uncommon with J-celebrities). Well, at least he's not gonna have to pay for medical school.

tbh, I'm sure he was already set for medical school to begin with.
The guy that set her up with him (I THINK) sells homes to millionaires. |

It's different from the norm of older Japanese men with younger women? |

Yep that's true like Rie Tanaka marrying Koichi Yamadera. |

A culture that does not find older women/younger guys unusual. Simple as that. |

...No, that's not what you think it is. The Oedipus complex is a a male thing, not female...and definitely not a syndrome xD But another poster's already said it - look at older, rich men with younger girls. It's a similar sort of thing, but one can only hope the two of them will be happy xD besides 10 years isn't really an unacceptable age difference after you're 20 imo, but that's a personal thing for people |
