Hmm, Sentai must have changed it after I posted the article, it definitely said Leraldo Anzaldua when I looked at when it was first posted. I've fixed the article, thanks for pointing that out.

Steven Foster, huh? Expect lots of F-bombs and awkward pop culture references.

Although in a show like this.... that might actually work.

This announcement is made in compliance with the Brittney Karbowski Full Employment Act of 2008.

Brittney Karbowski seems like a great choice to voice Himiko. Also, I suppose it is good news to see Sentai use some other VA's that are not their regulars.

I'm surprised Btooom is even getting a dub to be honest.

Pleasantly surprised, don't get me wrong.

This series is worth owning, even if by now some of us are bored with watching one "survival game" after another. I actually read about ten episodes worth of the manga, but eventually switched to watching the streamed episodes once it was adapted to an anime. To my knowledge nobody has confirmed a second season being greenlit for production yet, so buying this would be like (okay, I don't think this counts as a spoiler) owning a partial series.

The manga continues past where the 12 episode anime ended, so whether or not someone is just waiting for the manga to end before they announce the conclusion is a mystery. All I know is that boxsets of CaseClosed still sit on my anime shelf whispering "Incomplete" into my ears while I sleep.

I highly doubt we will see another anime season of BTOOOM! because it bombed in Japan sales-wise. It is a shame because the manga is well written and quite enjoyable.

Aw, man. I remember Tyler Galindo from Le Chevalier D'Eon. It was (and still is) uncommon to cast actual teens for logical reasons, but Tyler did a solid job. It's good to see him acting again, presumably after taking time to go through college.

well now so the casting went for on the mad bombers version of survivor aka btoom quite mix of some few regulars & fresh names to dub it.

on lead got karb as himiko & this galindo give only other anime i heard his voice was medaka box dub.

as for rest cast list mix bunch of fresh names & familiar names to hear on it.

indeed feel mix-batch casting on it to watch.

I saw the Note the second it was posted on Facebook. Leraldo definitely was listed as the director at that time.

Tyler Galindo did a really good job as Robin in Le Chevalier D'Eon, so I hope he does a good job here too.

I don't think I even need to share my opinions on Steven Foster's dubbing work at this point.
