See, look at this bulls***. The UK is blessed with Manga Entertainment as a publisher and will be able to pick these titles up at $47(which is still a bit high), while in the states we're stuck with Aniplex America who will be charging $90 for these titles.
I've heard other people going to region free players, and I have been looking into them over the last few months but now I sure getting one is in my best interest. |

If they're getting all this http://www.rightstuf.com/1-800-338-6827/catalogmgr/PIzM3IsMrcM=MjT9nI/browse/item/98498/4/0/0 then I'd agree that we're getting the short end of the stick. If they're just getting a bare bones release, then I'm happy with what we're getting.

^^^ I would happily pay twice the price, hey even more if we got even half of what the US get (and I mean this in general not for SAO). I'm bored of our bog standard releases in the UK, even the special editions pale in comparison. Meh I'll just carry on importing.

I guess in either case having the option to choose one would be ideal for the buyer. I can see myself paying $200 plus for a show that really touched me and holds a special place from all the anime I've seen, however I don't wanted to pay $200 plus for every Aniplex title that comes out here. Their version is very barebones and doesn't come with any special features. On the flip side, however, they're getting a combo pack while we aren't. Honestly, while the exclusion of the features does kinda suck, the fact that it's about half what we're being forced to pay more than makes up for it. Besides, most of the bonus stuff that AoA is throwing in to the US release is just paper crap anyways. |

I had no idea that anyone in the UK even licensed it, but Space Dandy's got a release date. It's getting a DVD and BD release on the 24th of November which is a long way away, but still thought that it might be worth mentioning.

Thought I might mention since The Garden of Sinners is OOP right now in North America that MVM has picked up the license for the UK along with some other titles.
