Toriko out of the top 10 on a week where Doraemon and Shin-chan didn't even air...yikes.

Decent for 'Pokémon: The Origin', looks like it gave a boost to the weekly episode airing the following day too.

Excellent rating for Space Brothers, the highest since it started airing I think.

this is only the 2nd time ever toriko was out of the top 10. i dunno why u guys think it's that bad. and plus, just look at onepiece this week. it's much lower than usual. this week's toriko was a filler too, so maybe that's a factor.

Because as I mentioned it's out on a week without Doraemon and Shin-chan. With its time-slot (9 am on sunday morning on Fuji TV is a great slot), it should not be out of the top 10/around or even under 4%. Regarding One Piece, of course it's lower since it airs after Toriko... Just look at Conan for the opposite example for the week : Space Brothers gets a great rating and bam Conan gets a two digit rating.

Yes, but again, it's a filler. And again, it never went below 4%, and we don't even know how much it is this week.

I don't get what u mean by OP being lower since it airs after Toriko.

Even a filler shouldn't be that low in such a time slot...

Well usually when a program's ratings decrease the program that airs right after it has decreasing ratings as well. And same thing regarding increases (take the night of the Super Bowl for the most obvious example).

@Kutsu

So I can only conclude you hate Toriko and want it so badly to fail and end?

Being one week out of the top 10 is nothing. seriously. The Toriko doosmday aint happening anytime soom. Its average rating is good for a a morning anime, and Toriko aint Sasae-san or Chibi-Maruko-chan to get 10+ ratings.

So one week out and we start talking about a decrease in ratings and how it affects other series.. lol, it was a slow week, that is all, as usual.

And citing the superbowl ... Shocked

Nah, I don't really care for it, that's true, but I don't hate it. I'm just looking at the numbers and positions. However, I do find it over-hyped, not necessarly in terms of quality, but in terms of success.

Its average rating for a 9 am sunday time slot is ok at best, and it has noticeably decreased since it started airing back in april 2011 (it used to get 6s and even 7s regularly, now it's around 4s and 5s most of the time). We'll see how it all goes but I wouldn't be surprised to see a Hunter x Hunter happen eventually.

Kutsu is right, Toriko is just doing a bad job. DB when aired before OP managed to have scored lower only by 1 million and sometimes even beating OP like here.
And I don't want to hear that DB is one of the most known shows and thanks to this it had good rating, especially that it was x-time it was re-aired. This time slot have much bigger potential and Toriko does not draw it fully.

Nope. If it was doing a bad job, they would've dropped it.
Wait, so u're saying that didn't have to do with it? Seriously?
People always compare stuff to DB or OP, which can also be unfair. dan999 is right: it's doing good for a morning timeslot, and is halfway through its 3rd year, so, TOEI must be loving it.

Really, all we know about Toriko is that it's paying the bills and that Toei doesn't think they can do better.

Does anyone know what aired opposite One Piece and Toriko that made both shows plummet so hard two weeks ago? Hopefully both bounced back yesterday.
